What is eyebrow microblading?
Microblading is a form of tattooing. Unlike a regular tattoo, microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine.
How does it work?
I draw hair-like strokes with the tool to mimic natural hairs in your brows. The ink goes about 3 layers deep whereas regular tattooing goes about 7. So, eventually it will fade and require top-ups.
How do I get started?
At Hil’s Holisitic Skincare, there is an initial free consultation where I will spend time to chat with you and discuss/draw an approx shape, colour etc. that you desire. This will be followed by a patch test, which is required before treatments begins.
How much does it cost?
There is an initial deposit of £40 and full payment due on day of treatment. The total cost is £180. You will receive a free top-up appointment 6 weeks later. Depending on your skin type, you will usually need yearly top-ups which are around £80.
